- Item: FA318 Serrated !
- Description: KY Carter Chert Palmer or Pine Tree - It was found in Madison County, KY. I obtained this piece from "BIG" Jerry Jones in 2004. It is made of a variety of Carter Chert. This piece has excellent color, nice symmetry and a fine tip. It is serrated down both blade edges. It is beveled on all 4 blade edges which leads me to place the typology as either a Palmer or a Pine Tree. The flaking leans me more towards Palmer. Both ears have ancient dings.
