Description: Big, Wide, Fossilifferous Paleo Blade - Found in Clinton County, Indiana on the H. Knapp Farm.  Made of Fossilifferous Chert.  Lots of color.  An ancient "burin" fracture near tip of blade. (see photos).  Jon Dickinson thought this was a Sloan Dalton, Tom Davis thought it was probably a Haw River & I tend to agree, you decide.  Either way, it's a well made, thin for size, Very early blade.  Ex- Jon Dickinson, Ex- K. Item: FP128
Description: Ohio Dalton Sloan - This is a very nice early piece.  It is a Dalton Sloan, or "Sloan Dalton" as some call them and I believe it is made of some variety of Coshocton.  It was found by Richard Green in Adams County, Ohio.  The hafting area along the sides of the base and the bottom are well ground.  It has a very nice wide flute or "thinning strike" up one side from the base ending in a terminal fracture.  It is a charcoal gray with nice inclusions.  It has classic form and great symmetry.  From my personal collection.
