- Description: Massive Kentucky Greenstone
Celt - Found in Bourbon County Kentucky off Paris Pike Between Lexington
and Paris, KY near intersection of Hutchinson Road and Bryan Station
Road. It was found in March 2011 by Larry Brewer who was doing
concrete work in the area and had been granted permission to hunt
"arrowheads" after work. This is an Exceptional Celt that has been
pecked and shaped from a large cobble and polished entirely. It
has a fine, well shaped bit. The overall symmetry of this Celt is
Very Good. It is a Whopping 13 1/2 inches long and weighs
approximately 4.75 lbs.
