- Description: Polished Hardstone Bell or Hoof Style Pestle - Here is a VERY NICE example of a Bell Pestle. This one has a very nice Squared off pole end and a wide flared out bottom. There is wear use on the flange of the bell as you will see in this type of Pestle. It was found in Central Kentucky.
