Description: Very Colorful Paoli Chert Lost Lake -  This nice Lost Lake is made of colorful Paoli Carter Cave Chert.  It was recovered in Bourbon Co., KY  It has an Ancient ear snap.  It has very nice flaking.  Ex- J. Broughton, Ex-Charles McSherry, Ex- Pat Orsary Collection

Description: Colorful Haney Chert Lost Lake - This Beautiful Corner Notch was recovered in Fayette Co., KY.    It is Serrated down both blade edges, and has nice flaking.  it has sustained Ancient ear damage and the ear was anciently reworked.  This has been called Carter Cave Chert, but I lean towards Haney because of the inclusions.  Ex- Tom Davis, Ex- Pat Orsary Collection

Description: Fantastic Dover Cotaco Creek - This Fantastic Cotaco Creek was found in Humphreys County, Tennessee, by William Stafford.  It is a VERY nice example of the type.  It has a nice tip and great symmetryIt is well made and well shaped.  Mr. William Stafford passed away in 1974 and the news print that this collection was wrapped in was dated in the early 1980's.  I would grade this Cotaco Creek at least a G-9.   Ex- William Stafford Collection,  Ex- Tom Davis, Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

Description: Big Beautifully Striped Stringtown - This Big Early Archaic Stringtown has taken that shape of a knife due to re-sharpenings.  It is nice and wide and thin for the size, with a very nice tip and base that is slightly expanding and knobbed.  It has excellent flaking and form.  It is made of a beautifully striped piece of fossilifferous flint.  I think the material may be from Pennsylvania.  It was found off the Ohio River by Jim Fleming, Sr.  Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington.

Description: Tyrone Chert Corner Notch Neuberger or Pinetree - This fine, well made Corner notch was found near Smyrna, Tennessee.  It is both Thin and well flaked.  It is made of highly collectible Tyrone Chert (aka. Crab Orchard Chert).  The base is ground and it has drooping barbed ears.  It has very nice symmetry and form.   Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington

Description: Beautiful Flint Ridge Archaic Corner Notch -  Here is a Beautiful Archaic Corner Notch, I will let you decide the typology.  It is made of a piece of Flint Ridge Flint that is very colorful.  It is thin and well flaked.  All the pieces from this collection were found in McCreary County, Kentucky either off Peel Dog Wood Road, in Forgotten Valley, Indian Creek, or Bear Wallow.  All of these are within 5 miles of the Cumberland River.  Ex- Monty & Jewdy Pennington
