April 4th, 2007 I got a call from David Denny this afternoon telling me he was looking down at a BIG adz. I told him to call and see how far away his nephew Speedy was, so he did and Speedy ran by and provided the "in-situ's". David said you could see the piece 100 feet away..... and after viewing these in-situ's, I agree. I got to see it later today and take the photos in my office. It measured 6 inches x 3 3/8 and is Hardstone. It has been hit by the disk a few times, but what amazed David was that he had walked this same field for over 25 years and finally have this piece come up. By the way....... This is the SAME field where he found the FLINT adz in Feb of "05. Hope you all enjoy. Monty
